St. Mary Magdalene, Equal to the Apostles Episcopal Church, is partnering with St. Peter and St. Mary Episcopal Church, to offer a ReConnect and ReStore workshop on Ukrainian Easter eggs (pysanky). Ukrainian legend alleges there is a monster that rules the world, but luckily, this monster is chained up. For every pysanky made each Lent, one link of the chain is taken out, so the monster is able to cause less trouble. Spending several hours in this meditative practice will help calm you, send peaceful prayers into the world, and leave you with a beautiful egg to treasure for years to come.
